# MJX Hire app for Android

> Get the MJX Hire app, sign in with your organisation code, and manage jobs, candidates, interviews, offers and AI calls from your phone.

The **MJX Hire** app puts your hiring desk on an Android phone: job openings, candidates, interviews, offers and AI screening calls. It uses the same login as your organisation's website, and everything you do in the app shows on the website at once.

## How to sign in

1. Open the app. It says "Job openings, candidates, interviews and offers — in your pocket."
2. Type your **Organisation code** — "Your office gives you this — it is the first part of its web address."
3. Type your **Mobile number or email** and **Password**, and press [[Sign in]].
4. Or press **Sign in with a code instead**. The code comes on WhatsApp and by email. Type it and press [[Sign in]].

> The app is for people who manage hiring. If MJX Hire is not on your plan you see "MJX Hire is not switched on for this organisation." If you do not have the HR role you see "Only people who manage hiring can use MJX Hire. Ask the owner to give you the HR role."

## What is in the app

The bottom bar has five tabs: **Home**, **Jobs**, **Candidates**, **Interviews** and **More**. A button at the bottom right adds a **New job** (on Jobs) or **Add** a candidate.

| **Home** | A greeting, "Here is where your hiring stands today.", and tiles for Open jobs, Applications, New this week, Upcoming interviews, Offers out and Joined. **By stage** counts and **Recent applications**. |
| **Jobs** (Job openings) | Every job with its applicants and new ones. Open a job to **Change status** (Publish, Pause, Close, Open again), **Edit**, **Add candidate**, or choose candidates for an **AI call**. |
| **Candidates** | Stage chips (**All** and each stage), and **Search by name, phone or email**. |
| **Interviews** | **Upcoming** and **Past** interviews. |
| **More** | **Offers**, **AI calls log**, **Offers & news** (what MJX has sent you), the **AI screening calls** status, **Account** (Name, Role, Organisation, Organisation code), **About** with the version, and **Sign out**. |

### Create or edit a job

Press **New job**. The form has **Job title** (required), Department, Place of work, **Job type**, **Work site**, How many openings, Experience (years) From / To, Salary (₹) A month / A year, **Show the salary on the careers page**, About the job, What you are looking for (one on each line), and **Last date to apply**.

- Press **Draft with AI** for a description (MJX Hire Pro).
- Under **Questions for applicants**, press **Add a question** and choose **Yes or No**, **A number**, **A few words** or **Choose one**. Set **Must be answered** and when to flag ("Flag the applicant unless the answer is …"). Nobody is turned away by it.
- Press **Publish now** or **Save as a draft**.

### Work with a candidate

Open a candidate to:

- **Move stage** (with an optional reason).
- **Call**, **WhatsApp** or **Email** them.
- Open the **Resume** on the phone.
- See and **Edit** **Screening details** (Total experience, Relevant experience, Current CTC, Expected CTC, Notice period / Last working day, Willing to relocate).
- **Schedule** an interview: How, Where or Meeting link (required), Date, Time (India time), How long, Name of this round, Who takes the interview, Note for the candidate, and **Email the invite**.
- **Give feedback** on an interview: Should we go ahead with this candidate?, Rating (optional), Notes, then **Save my feedback**.
- Give an interview a new time, **Mark as done**, mark **The candidate did not come**, or **Cancel the interview** (with **Tell the candidate by email**).
- See the **Offer** and press **Letter and actions**.
- Mark **They joined** or **Did not join**.
- **Add note** and read **Notes and timeline**.
- Press **Call with AI** under **AI screening call** (Pro), and read **What the candidate said** and the **Transcript**.

"Who each one is for, and where it stands." Open an offer and press:

- **Send to the candidate** — "The letter is frozen as it is now and emailed to them. After this it cannot be changed, only put on hold or withdrawn."
- **Put on hold** / **Take off hold**.
- **Withdraw the offer** — "It leaves the candidate's page. They are not emailed." A reason is asked; only your team sees it.
- **Open the letter** or **Open the signed copy**.

### AI calls in the app

On a job or on Candidates, press **AI call**, choose people (**Choose all**), and press **Start the AI call** (or **Start 3 AI calls**). "The answers appear on each candidate's page when the call ends." **More › AI calls log** shows "AI screening calls made today", "… of … calls" and lets you **Cancel this call** while it is waiting.

- Writing an offer letter and its templates.
- Agencies and agency terms.
- Asking for documents and DigiLocker checks.
- AI video interviews.
- Connecting your telephone provider for AI calls.
- The free job boards switch and the website code.

## Who can use it?

- **Roles:** the Owner, an Admin (where roles were never set up), and staff with the HR role (`hr.manage`).
- **Plan:** every MJX Hire plan. Scheduling interviews and offers need Basic ("Scheduling interviews comes with MJX Hire Basic and above."); **Draft with AI** and AI calls need Pro ("Drafting with AI comes with MJX Hire Pro.").

## Questions people ask

### Where do I download the MJX Hire app?

Open pathshala.mjxtechnologies.com/app/hire on your phone. It opens the right store page. On Google Play the app id is com.mjxtechnologies.app.mjx_hiring.

### Who can sign in to the MJX Hire app?

People who manage hiring — the owner, an admin where roles were never set up, or staff with the HR role. Others see "Only people who manage hiring can use MJX Hire. Ask the owner to give you the HR role."

### Can I write an offer letter in the app?

No. An offer is written on the website. In the app you can send, hold or withdraw it and open the letter or the signed copy.

### Can I start AI screening calls from the app?

Yes, on MJX Hire Pro. Choose candidates and press AI call. Connecting your telephone provider is done on the website, under Recruitment › AI calls.

### What is the organisation code?

It is the first part of your web address. For sunrise.pathshala.mjxtechnologies.com, the code is sunrise.
