# Event photo albums and your public pages

> Share event photos with learners in the MJX Learn app, choose which albums show publicly, and see every public page your institute has.

MJX Learn lets you share event photos — a prize day, a trip, results day — with your learners in the app, and show the albums you choose on a public photos page. Together with your course store and course pages, this makes up your institute's public face online.

## How to create an album

> [!PATH] App › Institute › Event photos

1. Tap **New album**.
2. Type the **Event name**.
3. Choose who sees it: **All students** or **One class**.
4. Optionally paste a **Google Drive folder link (optional)** — "Share the folder as "Anyone with the link". You can also add photos from your phone."
5. Tap [[Create album]].

Inside the album, tap **+** / **Add photos** to upload from your phone, or **Add a Google Drive folder** from the menu.

## Album settings

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Who can see this album** | **All my students** or **Only this class**. |
| **Let students download** / **Stop students downloading** | "Students can download these photos." or "Students can look, not download." |
| **Show on our public page** | Puts the album on your public photos page — "anyone with the link can see it". |
| **Take off our public page** | Removes it from the public page. |
| **Copy the link** | Copies the album's link. |
| **Remove this album** | Removes it for everyone. Photos in Google Drive stay in your Drive. |

> [!IMPORTANT]
> Before an album goes public you are asked: "Show it only if the families are happy for these photos to be public. You can take it off again any time."

Learners find albums in the app under **Profile › Event photos — Photos your institute shared**.

## Your public pages

Anybody can open these on your Pathshala address, with no login:

The photos page needs MJX LMS on your account.

## Who can use this?

## Questions people ask

### Where do I make albums?

In the MJX Learn app, under Institute › Event photos. There is no album screen on the website.

### Can I use photos already in Google Drive?

Yes. Add a Google Drive folder shared as "Anyone with the link". The photos stay in your Drive.

### Who can see an album?

All your students, or only one class — and, if you choose, anybody on your public photos page.

### Can students download the photos?

Only if you allow it with "Let students download". Otherwise they can look, not download.
