What is MJX Payroll?

MJX Payroll is payroll software from MJX Technologies for businesses and education institutions in India. Set each salary once and every month the payslips are worked out and issued, and each person downloads their own; unpaid leave and absent days can come off the pay. Paid plans add income tax (TDS), the month register and bank sheet, and PF, ESI, Professional Tax and Form 16.

Loans and salary advances An advance you have given comes off the pay a bit each month until it is cleared: the payslip names it, prints what was taken and says what is still to go. The last instalment is only ever what is left, a month with nothing left to take is skipped rather than forced, and you can stop one early and say why.	✕	✕	✓
Income tax worked out Each person's income tax (TDS) worked out every month on the regime they chose — new by default, old if they pick it, fixed for the year once chosen — from their salary, what has been paid so far and what they declared (rent, 80C, 80D, home loan, a previous employer), with the working shown to them and to you.	✕	✓	✓
Reimbursements Money somebody spent for the organisation, claimed back: record it with the bill from your Documents, allow or refuse it with a reason the person is shown, and the next payslip pays it as its own named line. It is added to the take-home and never reduced by anything, and withdrawing that payslip puts the claim back on the list.	✕	✕	✓
Leave encashment on exit Unused leave paid out when somebody leaves: the people whose last working day falls in the month are listed for you with their leave balance beside each one, you type what is being paid and why, and their full and final payslip carries it as its own named line that is added to the take-home and reduced by nothing. Withdrawing that payslip puts it back on the list. What is free and what is paid?

Forever Free: salary structures and the monthly payslip, for up to 5 employees. Basic adds income tax, the month register and the bank sheet. Pro adds PF, ESI, Professional Tax, filing files, Form 16, arrears and checks before issue. Paid plans are per employee.

Does this need MJX HR?

Yes, and it comes with it. A salary is paid to a person whose record and leave live in MJX HR, so buying Payroll includes it.

Does MJX Payroll handle TDS, PF and ESI?

Yes. Income tax (TDS) on each person's chosen regime comes with MJX Payroll Basic; PF, ESI, Professional Tax, the filing files and Form 16 come with MJX Payroll Pro.
