Questions people ask
I already have MJX Academic — do I need this too?
No. MJX Academic includes the register and always has; nothing changes for you and there is nothing extra to pay. This is the same product sold on its own, for an institute that wants attendance and not the timetable, homework and exams around it.
Does the absent message go out on its own?
No, and that is deliberate. You see who will be messaged and press send. Sending also needs an absence template approved by WhatsApp on your own business number — until that approval exists, the screen tells you so instead of trying and failing on each family.
Can I mark attendance for a class I do not teach?
Only if the institute says so. Marking is scoped per staff member, and a stand-in for an absent class teacher is recorded as a delegation with its own dates.
What do I need set up before I can mark a register?
Your learners and your classes. Both are part of the product on every plan, so an institute buying only this can be marking a register the same day.
Is there face recognition or a biometric device?
No. Attendance is marked by a person today. Anything involving a camera or a fingerprint is consent-gated and legally regulated — especially for children — and we would rather say it does not exist than list it as though it does.
