Academics in Pathshala (MJX Academic)
What the Academics part of Pathshala does — timetable, homework, syllabus, exams, marks, report cards and admit cards — and which plan has what.
Academics is the part of Pathshala that runs the teaching day: the timetable, homework, the syllabus and lesson plans, study material, exams and marks, report cards and admit cards. It is sold as MJX Academic, and it uses the classes, subjects and students you set up once in Pathshala.
Press Apps and choose School & Academics. Its menu shows the screens used most; the rest sit under School settings at the foot of the menu. A teacher's menu starts with class work:

A teacher sees only the classes written down as theirs on the Staff screen (as class teacher or subject teacher), plus any class they have been asked to cover. Until that is done, some screens tell them "No classes are yours yet".

Pathshala uses the words your institution uses. The screens in this guide change like this:

#Add your classes and subjects
Open Classes and Subjects in the sidebar. Every other screen picks from these lists. See Classes, sections and subjects.

Add them one by one or import an Excel file. See Students.
#Tell Pathshala which classes each teacher has
On the Staff screen, give each teacher their class (as class teacher) or subject. Their screens then open on their own classes.

Open Timetable › Day structure, add your periods, then fill the grid. See Timetable.

Everything here works in the browser at your institution's Pathshala address. Teachers can also use the MJX Teacher app for attendance, homework and marks, and families see the results of all this work in the MJX Parent app.

Is MJX Academic a separate product from Pathshala?
It is the academic part of Pathshala. You buy it on its own or as part of an MJX ONE plan, and its screens appear in your sidebar once you hold it.
Does a coaching centre see the word "Exam"?
No. Pathshala uses your institution's own words. A coaching centre sees Tests and Target Exams, a college sees Exams and Branches, and a skill institute sees Assessments and Courses.
What is in Pro that is not in Basic?
The question bank, the question paper builder, the AI drafts (class tests, exam papers, lesson plans and homework), staff attendance and attendance patterns.
Can teachers use it on a phone?
Yes. Every screen works in a phone browser, and teachers can also use the MJX Teacher app.
Do parents see homework and results?
Yes. Homework, study material, the datesheet and published results show in the family's MJX Parent app or parent web page.
