Your public page — get found on Google and by AI assistants
Set up your MJX Learn public page — headline, about, subjects, city, photo and FAQ — so Google, ChatGPT and other AI assistants can find your courses.
Your public page is the home page of your MJX Learn address — what a visitor sees when they open it without signing in. It says who you are, what you teach, where and how, lists your courses with prices, shows real reviews, answers common questions and has Book a free demo and WhatsApp us buttons. Once your profile is complete, Google and AI assistants such as ChatGPT can read it and suggest you to people looking for classes like yours.
The page shows only what is real, in your own colour (Settings › Branding):
- At a glance counts your courses, lessons and free lessons, adds your rating once three or more reviews are visible, and lists your subjects and classes.
- Why learn with us lists what your courses really offer — free lessons to try, live classes coming up, recorded lessons, test series, a free demo.
- A course card shows the old price struck through, and how much is saved, only when you set an old price on the course.
- A part with nothing in it is left out. On a phone, a WhatsApp button stays in the corner once the visitor scrolls past the top.
#The five tabs
The screen has five tabs: Profile, FAQ, Google & AI search, Find a teacher and Share. Every box on every tab belongs to one form, so switching tabs never loses what you typed; one Save at the foot of the screen saves all of them. Changes not saved yet shows until you press it. The open tab is part of the web address, so a reload or a shared link opens the same tab.
#How to set up your public page
- Under Your photo or logo, press Choose a picture. Without one, your logo is shown. (The picture is saved at once, on its own.)
- Choose I teach on my own or We are an institute.
- Fill Headline (one line) — for example "Class 9–12 Maths and Physics, online and in Patna".
- Write About — at least 80 characters: how you teach, for whom, and what a class is like.
- Type your Subjects, and optionally Classes or levels and Languages you teach in, separated with commas.
- Choose How you teach: Online, In person, or Online and in person. Optionally add Years of teaching and a WhatsApp number for "WhatsApp us" (empty uses your institute's phone).
- Under Where, type your City and optionally the Area. Tick Show my full address on the page only if you want it shown — the city alone is enough.
- Press Save.
Add Questions people ask (up to 10; 3 or more is best) with + Add a question, then press Save. They are shown on your page and read by Google and AI assistants.
The box at the top of the screen says how many of the five profile items are done and what is still missing. See your page opens the page as a visitor sees it.
#Edit your page where learners see it
When you open your own address while signed in, you see your public page exactly as learners see it, with a bar at the top: This is your public page — what learners see. Go to dashboard takes you back.
Owners and admins also see Edit page:
- Press Edit page. The headline, short summary, about, subjects, classes, languages, how you teach, city, area, years of teaching, WhatsApp number and the questions become boxes, in their places on the page.
- Change what you want. Add, change or remove questions under Questions people ask. ✨ Draft with AI next to the headline, summary, about and questions fills that box; nothing is saved until you press Save.
- Press Save in the bar at the foot of the screen. The page shows Saved. and your new text, as learners will see it.
Cancel puts everything back as it was, without saving. Change photo saves the new picture at once, on its own. In edit mode each course has an Edit course link that opens it in Online courses. Leaving the page with changes not saved asks first.
These are the same details as on Public page › Profile and FAQ; the search title, description, the Google switch and course web addresses are changed there. If your page is not set up yet (no profile and no course on sale), owners and admins see Your public page is not set up yet with Set up my page; other staff go to their dashboard.
Your own visits are never counted in Grow, and the version with the bar is shown only to you.
#Draft with AI
Next to Headline, About, the FAQ, Search title, Search description and Summary there is a ✨ Draft with AI button. It writes a draft into that box from your own details only: your profile, your city, languages and how you teach, the courses you have on sale with their prices, and your rating once three or more reviews are visible.
- The draft only fills the box. Nothing is saved until you read it, change what is not right, and press Save.
- The AI is told never to add results, ranks, toppers, years, guarantees, discounts, phone numbers, email or web addresses that are not in your details. If a draft says something like that anyway, it is replaced by a plain draft made from your details, and the screen says so. For the FAQ, only the answers that said such things are left out.
- Each press uses your monthly AI allowance (it shows as Public page texts (AI draft) on your AI usage screen).
- Draft with AI comes with MJX LMS Pro. On other plans the button shows a padlock and the plan that includes it. Everything else on the screen works on every MJX Learn plan.
#When does your page appear on Google?
Ready for Google and AI search, at the top of this tab, checks your saved details item by item. Your home page and your course pages are shown to search engines only when all of these are true:
- you hold MJX Learn (MJX LMS);
- the profile is complete — headline, about (80 characters or more), at least one subject, city and how you teach;
- Show my page on Google is on (it switches on by itself once the profile is complete; you can turn it off);
- at least one course is on sale (Sell this to anybody with the link) and shown on your course page;
- it is the live site (the test server is never shown to search engines).
The list also gives three tips that help but do not decide it: at least three questions answered, a search title of up to 60 characters, and a search description of 70 to 155 characters.
Until then the pages still open for anybody you send them to, but they ask search engines not to list them. Your course store (~/courses) follows the same rule.
#Search title and description
Under On Google, a Preview shows your result as Google lists it, and changes as you type. The grey text in Search title and Search description is a suggestion made from your profile. Leave the boxes empty to use it, press Use the suggestion to copy it in and edit it, write your own, or press ✨ Draft with AI.
Under each box a count shows the length in green when it fits (title up to 60 characters, description 70 to 155) and in amber when Google would cut it or it is short.
#Summary for AI assistants
Under For AI assistants, write (or draft) a Summary of two or three sentences: who teaches, what, for which classes, where, how, and the price range of your courses. It is the first line of your llms.txt — the file AI assistants read — and is shown under the headline at the top of your page. Left empty, llms.txt starts with a sentence made from your profile; the box below it shows what it opens with.
#Course web addresses
Every course that is on sale and shown on your course page gets a readable address made from its name, for example /courses/class-10-maths-crash-course. Change it under Course web addresses on the Google & AI search tab and press Save on that row (each row saves on its own). Use small letters, numbers and hyphens. The old address keeps opening the course, and so do links like /course/… that you already shared.
A course you sell by link only (not shown on your course page) keeps its private /course/… link and is never shown to search engines.
#What Google and AI assistants see
| What | Address | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Home page | / | Who you are, subjects, classes, city, mode, courses, reviews, FAQ |
| Course pages | /courses/<name> | What the course teaches, lessons, schedule, price, instructor, reviews, FAQ |
| sitemap.xml | /sitemap.xml | The list of your public pages, for Google |
| llms.txt | /llms.txt | A plain-text summary for AI assistants: your summary (or who you are, what you teach and where), and each course with its price and link |
| robots.txt | /robots.txt | Which pages search engines may read |
The home and course pages also carry structured data (schema.org Course, offers in rupees, the educator, breadcrumbs, and your FAQ), so Google can show a course's price and rating. A rating is shown only once a course has three or more visible reviews.
When you save your profile or put a course on sale, search engines that use IndexNow (Bing and others) are told at once. Google finds the changes through your sitemap.
#Book a free demo
If your plan includes MJX CRM, the Book a free demo form on your page adds an enquiry to your CRM (source website, tag Free demo), with the course or subject the visitor chose. You see it in your enquiries and can call back. Without MJX CRM, the page shows WhatsApp us and Call us buttons instead.
#Tips
- Write the headline the way a parent or student would search: subject, class and city ("NEET Biology coaching in Patna").
- Put your teaching method and anything true and specific in About. Pages with useful, specific text do better than short ones.
- Answer at least three real questions on the FAQ tab — AI assistants quote short, direct answers.
- Fill What you will learn and the FAQ on each course's sales page details — they appear on the course page and in what AI assistants read. See Sell your courses.
- Ask happy learners for a review; ratings appear after three. See Reviews.
- Share your home page address on Instagram, YouTube and Google Business Profile — links from other sites help Google find you sooner.
- Get listed in Find a teacher, MJX's search of verified teachers and institutes (Public page › Find a teacher). If you teach in person, the Get found on Google Maps checklist on the same tab walks you through a free Business Profile on Google.
- The Share tab has your page address with Copy and Share on WhatsApp, and the address of each course. For links that tell you which channel worked, posters and post texts, see Grow.
#Who can use this?
| Who | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner, Admin | Edit the public page, photo, FAQ, search text, summary, the Google switch and course web addresses; use Draft with AI; press Edit page on their own address. |
| Teacher | Cannot open this screen. Sees the public page with the bar and Go to dashboard, without Edit page. |
| Plan | Every MJX Learn plan. Draft with AI needs MJX LMS Pro. The demo form needs MJX CRM. |
There is no screen for this in the MJX Learn app yet — use the website.
#Questions people ask
Do I need my own website?
No. Your MJX Learn address is your website. It has a home page about you, a page for every course, and the files Google and AI assistants read.
How long until I show up on Google?
Usually a few days to a few weeks after your page is complete and switched on. Google decides when; nobody can promise a date or a position.
Why does my page say it is not on Google yet?
Ready for Google and AI search on Public page › Google & AI search, and the status box at the top, list what is missing — usually the profile (headline, about, a subject, city, how you teach), the "Show my page on Google" switch, or a course that is on sale and shown on your course page.
Will learners' names or numbers appear on the page?
No. Reviews show a first name and an initial only. Nothing about your learners is on the public page.
Can I change a course's web address?
Yes, on Public page › Google & AI search, under Course web addresses. The old address keeps opening the course.
Does Draft with AI save anything by itself?
No. It only fills the box from your own details. Read it, change what is not right, and press Save. A draft that says something not in your details is replaced by a plain one.
What do I see when I open my own address while signed in?
Your public page exactly as learners see it, with a bar at the top. Owners and admins can press Edit page there to change the page in place; other staff see Go to dashboard.
Do my old course links still work?
Yes. A link like /course/… that you already shared opens the course at its new readable address.
