Pathshala by MJX Technologies is a modular, WhatsApp-first ERP for schools, colleges, coaching centres, tuition classes, skill institutes and small businesses in India. You switch on only the products you need — admissions, academics, fees, WhatsApp, online courses, CRM, HR, payroll or hiring — and they share one login, one set of students and staff, and one bill.

#The product family

Every product below lives on the same Pathshala platform. Open a card to read its own guides.

#How the pieces fit together

  • One organisation, one portal. At sign-up you pick your portal address, for example sunrise.pathshala.mjxtechnologies.com. Your staff sign in there.
  • Products are switched on one by one. Each product has a Forever Free edition and paid Basic and Pro plans. Some products bring another one with them — for example, MJX Payroll switches on MJX HR, because payroll pays the people kept in HR.
  • Your words, not ours. At sign-up you choose what describes you best — School, Coaching, Tuition, College, Institute or Business. The screens then use the matching words, such as "Class" or "Batch". A Business has staff only, with no students.
  • WhatsApp first. Receipts, reminders, notices and enquiry replies go out on WhatsApp. They start on MJX's shared WhatsApp number; you can connect your own number later.
  • Web and phone. Everything works in the browser on a phone or computer. The MJX apps add a phone-first view for each kind of user. See Get the apps.

#Finding your way around

  • Apps (top left; on a phone, at the top of the menu) lists the products you have. Choose one and the left menu shows that product's screens — never more than nine, with the rarer ones under its own Settings row at the foot of the menu.
  • Today at the top of every menu is your home page. Getting started lists the set-up steps of every product you have, ticked from your real data.
  • Settings at the foot of the menu opens one page for your whole organisation: details and logo, people and roles, getting paid and KYC, WhatsApp, notifications, integrations and billing.
  • Your name at the top right holds your own things: my attendance, my leave, my payslips, my profile and your password.
  • Add products at the foot of the Apps list shows the products you do not have yet, with their price.

In these guides, a path such as Apps › Fees › Invoices means: press Apps, choose Fees, then press Invoices in the menu.

#Where to start

#Questions people ask

Who is Pathshala for?

Schools, colleges, coaching centres, tuition classes and skill institutes in India — and offices, shops, clinics and agencies that need the CRM, WhatsApp, HR, payroll or hiring products.

Do I have to buy the whole ERP?

No. Every product is switched on and paid for on its own. Most institutes start with one and add the next later.

What do I need to start?

A mobile number on WhatsApp, an email address and a few minutes. Sign up at pathshala.mjxtechnologies.com/signup. No card is needed.

Does it work in Hindi?

Yes. Each person can choose English, Hindi or Hinglish for the screens, and the WhatsApp AI replies in the language the parent or customer wrote in.

Is my institute's data kept separate?

Yes. Every record is tied to your organisation and kept apart from every other organisation's data.
