Pathshala glossary
Plain-English meanings of the words used in Pathshala — module, Forever Free, portal address, job, fee head, knowledge base, template, KYC and more.
The words below appear across Pathshala's screens and these docs. Some screen words change with your organisation type — for example "Class" for a school, "Batch" for a coaching centre — so your screens may use the word that fits you.

#Questions people ask
What is the difference between a module and a feature?
A module (product) is a part of Pathshala you switch on and pay for, such as MJX Fees Management. A feature is one capability inside it, such as fee reminders, which may need a higher plan.
What is the difference between a role and a job?
Every login has one role — Owner, Admin or Staff. A job, such as Accountant or Class Teacher, narrows exactly which screens that person can open.
What is a WhatsApp template?
A message approved in advance by WhatsApp. You need one to message somebody first; replies inside an open conversation do not need a template.
