MJX Hire is the recruitment software and applicant tracking system (ATS) in Pathshala. You post a job, share it anywhere, and move every applicant along one board — from the first application to the joining day. It is made for Indian schools, coaching institutes, colleges, offices and growing companies.

In Pathshala, press Apps and choose MJX Hire; its menu row is Recruitment. It works on its own, or together with MJX People (HR) and Payroll, so a person who joins becomes an employee without typing their details again.

#Who is MJX Hire for?

  • Owners and HR who post jobs and run the hiring.
  • Interviewers — any staff member added to an interview. They see only the candidates they interview.
  • Candidates — they apply on your careers page and follow their application on their own page.
  • Recruitment agencies — they send you people through their own private page.

#The hiring stages

Every application sits in one stage. The board shows six stages in this order:

AppliedThe person has applied or was added by your team.
ScreeningYou are checking their answers, resume or AI call.
ShortlistedYou want to take them further.
InterviewOne or more interview rounds are set.
OfferAn offer letter is being written or has been sent.
JoinedThey have joined.

Two more stages sit off the board: Not selected and Withdrawn (the candidate withdrew).

#Who can open Recruitment?

The Recruitment screens are for people who manage hiring: the Owner, an Admin (where roles were never set up), and anyone given the HR role (the hr.manage permission). An interviewer who is not HR can open only My interviews and the candidates on their own interviews.

Does the AI reject candidates?

No. The AI reports what a resume or a call says, with quotes. Moving a person forward or not is always your team's decision.

Is there a free plan?

Can I use MJX Hire on my phone?

Yes. The MJX Hire app for Android shows your jobs, candidates, interviews, offers and AI calls. Some things, like writing an offer letter, are done on the website.
