The MJX Learn app is also your institute in your pocket. As an owner or admin you can build courses, schedule live classes, see who paid and add learners; as a teacher you answer doubts, mark work and keep the register. The same app serves your learners — they see your name, logo and colour.

#How to sign in as an educator

  • New institute: on the first screen tap Create My Institute ("I teach. I want to put my courses online and sell them."). Fill in What are you? (Coaching centre, Tuition class, School, College, Institute), Institute name, Institute code ("Your students will type this to join you."), Your name, Mobile number, Email, City, State and Password, then tap Create institute.
  • Existing account: open Educator sign in and type Institute code, Email or mobile number and Password, then tap Sign in.

Teachers sign in with the mobile number and the one-time password the owner gave them under My staff — see Staff and roles.

#The bottom bar

#The side menu

The side menu starts with Home, then groups:

GroupRows (what you see depends on your role)
MeMy attendance, Myself (teachers)
TeachingMock tests, Batch schedule, Reviews, Assignments, Send a notification
MoneyPayments, Invoices & GST, Discount codes, Refund requests, Billing, Getting paid & KYC
WhatsAppEnquiries (once your own WhatsApp is connected and saving enquiries is on) and WhatsApp (owner and admin) — see WhatsApp and enquiries
InstituteMy staff, Event photos, Analytics, App banners, App look, Terms & Privacy

At the bottom: Offers & news and Sign out.

  • Live classes lists the classes coming up or on now (soonest first), then those that ended in the last 7 days, each with its course and teacher. Owners and admins see every class; a teacher sees only the classes of the courses they are on. Tap a class to open it and start it.
  • Public page (owner and admin) opens your public home page — your own web address once it is connected, otherwise your MJX address. See Public page and Google.

#Inside a course

Tap a course in My batches to:

  • Add topic / Add chapter (tuition: Add book / Add subject), with a YouTube link, a PDF link, text, or Upload a video from the phone. Once PDF uploads are on for your account, a PDF topic also offers Upload a PDF — the file is kept privately in MJX's storage and learners read it in the book reader.
  • Open chapters day by day.
  • Schedule live class — Zoom, Google Meet or your own link.
  • Add learner to the course.
  • Publish & price — sell it, set the price, who pays the charges, and the Certificate design.

For an in-person class you get Register — mark attendance and Students, attendance and books. See Tuition and in-person classes.

#Money screens

  • Payments — TRANSACTIONS, STUDENTS, UNPAID, UPCOMING; Record a payment received by Cash, UPI, Bank, Cheque or Other; Monthly fee for a class.
  • Analytics — learners, courses, live classes, questions waiting, Who paid, Who stopped, What are they stuck on?, Refunds, Possible account sharing, and Where my learners are from.
  • Getting paid & KYC — one screen: your steps, DigiLocker, the bank account and your papers. See Get paid.
  • Billing — your MJX plan and anything you owe. See Plans and billing.

#Alerts

The bell shows sales, new joiners, questions and failed payments. Tapping an alert opens what it is about — a new student opens My learners searched for that person; a doubt opens the doubt.

#Who sees what?

  • Owner and admin: every row above.
  • Teacher (staff): My batches, My learners, Doubts, Live classes (their own courses), the Teaching rows, Myself and My attendance. "They can see their classes and students — never the fees."

If the institute's billing is pending, the app shows a pay screen to owners and a message to staff. Learners are never shown your bill, but while an account is suspended their app says "Courses are not available at this institute." See Plans and billing.

#Questions people ask

Is the educator app a different app?

No. It is the same MJX Learn app. On the first screen tap "Create My Institute" to start, or sign in as an educator with your institute code.

What do teachers see in the app?

My batches, My learners and Doubts for the courses they are on, plus Teaching screens such as Mock tests, Assignments and Reviews, and their own Myself page. Teachers never see fees, KYC or the numbers.

Can I do everything in the app that I can on the website?

Most things. A few owner tools — the funnel, abandoned checkouts, nudges and affiliates — are only on the website.

What happens when I tap a notification?

It opens the thing it is about — for example a new student opens My learners searched for them, and a new doubt opens that doubt.
